Virtually every National Trust house has one or more clocks.
Some such as Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire, Lyme Park in Cheshire and Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire have important collections.
Cotehele in Cornwall boasts the earliest unaltered clock in the country, installed before 1489.
The National Trust is also building up an interesting collection of clocks at Trerice in Cornwall.
