Important collections including objets de vertue were made by Baron Ferdinand de Rothschild at Waddesdon Manor in Buckinghamshire, Dame Margaret Greville at Polesden Lacey in Surrey and Lord Fairhaven at Anglesey Abbey in Cambridgeshire.
The Harpur Crewe jewellery is displayed at Calke Abbey in Derbyshire.
