Absorb the atmosphere at the wonderfully restored Darnley Mausoleum, designed by James Wyatt and so memorably featured in the BBC's 'Restoration' programme. Then follow in the footsteps of the Darnley family while walking through the peaceful woodland, once part of their extensive estate and soon to be acquired by the National Trust. Note: no vehicle access or parking at the property. No WCs

    Don't miss
    • Discover the beautifully restored Grade I listed mausoleum.
    • Explore the varied habitats of Cobham Park's ancient woodland.
    • Enjoy far-reaching, commanding views over the Medway and Thames.
    Please note

Despite extensive efforts we have been unable to resolve outstanding matters relating to the acquisition of the Mausoleum. We are therefore unable to open the building until it comes under National Trust ownership
