How can I join the National Trust?
A. There are many different ways to join the National Trust
and as well as all the great benefits membership brings you will be supporting our conservation work,
which would be impossible without your help.

Q. Does my membership card cover entry to properties
in Scotland?
A. Members of the National Trust are also admitted free of charge
to properties of the National Trust for Scotland (NTS), a separate charity with similar responsibilities.
NTS properties include the famous Inverewe Garden, Bannockburn, Culloden and Robert Adam's masterpiece,
Culzean Castle.
Full details are contained in the National Trust for Scotland Guide to Properties
which can be obtained by sending a self-addressed adhesive label and £5.00 to: National Trust for Scotland,

Reciprocal visiting arrangments also exist with certain overseas National Trusts,
including Australia, New Zealand, Barbados, Bermuda, Canade, Jersey, Guernsey and the Manx Museum and
National Trust on the Isle of Man. A full list of reciprocal organisations can be
found in our membership pages.
Please note: you must have a valid membership card to gain entry to properties owned
by the National Trust for Scotland or overseas Trusts.
Q. Where can I visit?
A. We care for over 248,000 hectares of beautiful countryside,
more than 700 miles of coastline and hundreds buildings and gardens. To find out what there is in your
area or anywhere in England, Wales or Northern Ireland, see our visits section.
Q. My National Trust card has been lost or stolen,
how do I get a replacement?
A. Contact the Membership Department on 0844 800 1895 or enquiries@thenationaltrust.org.uk
We can offer a refund on entry in National Trust vouchers; the ‘members with no
card’ form is available from properties. This can be filled in and, if the receipts are forwarded with
the form, the Membership Department will refund the cost in Trust vouchers.
