In 1795 the eccentric 4th Earl of Bristol created this extraordinary house with its huge central Rotunda, and two wings linked by sweeping corridors.
Ickworth is famed for its collections of Old Master paintings including works by Titian and Velazquez, family portraits, silver, and Regency furniture.
The House stands amidst formal gardens including an Italianate Garden and Pleasure Grounds, all of which are surrounded by spectacular parkland, designed in part by ‘Capability’ Brown.
The West Wing of the house remained an unfinished shell until 2005 when floors were put in and the space developed to provide stylish and contemporary facilities for fine dining and corporate functions.

Amongst the rooms available, The Gallery is perfect for drinks receptions, dinners and presentations, while the restored Orangery has a lovely view over the formal gardens.
The Court (a former squash court still retaining its original markings) is an unusual setting for a smaller event, and the Engine Room is a bright, quirky room for meetings on the lower ground floor
Tours of the house, garden and vineyard (producing exclusive Ickworth wines) are available to compliment your memorable event at Ickworth.
Our dedicated functions team will ensure that, whatever the event, you and your guests will have a truly unique and superb experience quite unlike any other.
