For the winter months we arrange a series of talks in the area and full details are available on our events page. As well as talks our programme includes a Christmas party, other social events and there can also be trips to concerts arranged.

We run a programme of day trips by coach, usually from February to September, on varying days of the week to National Trust properties and other places of interest. In the recent past we have enjoyed holidays to Austria and Shropshire. Concerts - 'Music of the Night' at The Citadel and H.M.Royal Marines at Dartmouth. River Trips - Birdwatching on the Exe and visits to various Houses, Gardens and Exhibitions.

There is of course a charge for all these events – that’s how we raise funds! Typically a meeting is £4 and a day out is charged between £10 to £15 but these can and do vary. The Association also offers one or two longer holiday trips each year.

Programme information is circulated to members by a newsletter every quarter and a special mailing in the New Year.
