Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
The Raleigh Centre was formed in 1980 and has a present membership of over 700, mostly derived from the towns of Exmouth, Budleigh Salterton and surrounding areas.
Our aim is to enhance the National Trust membership by providing an interesting programme of social events, theatre visits, day coach outings to places of interest, an annual holiday and talks all in a friendly atmosphere.
Some of our members provide volunteer support as Room Guides at A la Ronde.
Whenever funds allow we donate to selected National Trust projects. Two major recipients in recent years have been our local property A la Ronde and the Neptune Coastline campaign
