Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
The Penwith Association was formed for Trust Members and Volunteers in the far South-West of England (the Land's End peninsula) as a social group for people interested in conservation in its widest sense.
We meet approximately monthly, from September to April in the Queen's Hotel, Penzance, usually on the last Monday of the month. Subjects of the presentations given are extremely varied, and are followed by light refreshments with a chance to catch up with friends. In summer months we arrange tours and visits to local properties, both Trust and non-Trust owned.
Full details can be found in our quarterly magazine "Cornish Oak Leaves", which also includes meetings and events run by other Associations in Cornwall, and which Penwith members are welcome to attend.
A warm welcome awaits new members; membership comes at a relatively nominal cost. Please do get in touch. Guests are also welcome to our meetings. Our membership enquiry contact will be happy to tell you more about us.
