Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
The Leicester Association, founded in 1966, is a voluntary group affiliated to the National Trust with around 260 members from Leicester and Leicestershire.
We arrange a programme of evening and afternoon meetings with talks, outings and social activities for the enjoyment of members. We promote the National Trust locally and raise funds for projects at National Trust properties in the East Midlands and the Neptune Coastline Campaign. Some of our members help at local properties or give talks to outside groups.
Membership is open to all members of the National Trust, its affiliated organisations, and National Trust volunteers. If you would like to meet people with similar interests in heritage, conservation, gardens and the countryside, and our programme appeals to you, then we would like you to join us.
