About the group
The Nottingham Centre, founded in 1974, is a voluntary group affiliated to the National Trust and currently has 600 members in the Nottingham/Notts area. Our aims are to promote the work of the National Trust locally through a programmme of social activities - talks, outings and holidays, and so make your National Trust membership more enjoyable.
Amongst the National Trust properties we support in particular are Clumber Park, Belton House and the High Peak. The Centre raises and donates funds to a range of projects at these properties. Recently £1600 was donated to the High Peak for a bird hide, and six seats. We have also given £400 for a picnic table at Belton House.
Membership is open to all members of the National Trust, its affiliated organisations, and National Trust Volunteers. If you would like to meet people with similar interests in heritage, conservation, gardens and the countryside, we look forward to meeting you.
