A National Nature Reserve around Calke Abbey, the park has a rich and varied landscape, from rolling grassland to ancient oaks. It is important for the quality of its wood pasture, one of the rarest habitats in Europe.
High Peak

Explore the wild and dramatic Pennine moorland, adjoining the impressive 600m high Kinder Scout. Nearby is the landmark of Mam Tor and the limestone gorge of Winnats Pass.
Longshaw Estate

The Longshaw Estate is an outstanding area of moorland, woodland and farmland, formerly a shooting estate of the Duke of Rutland.
South Peak Estate

Straddling the Derbyshire and Staffordshire border, the estate includes Dovedale, the former Leek and Manifold Valley Light Railway and Ilam Park.
