The Colchester & North-East Essex Centre was founded in 1979. Currently we have more than 400 members drawn from Colchester and the surrounding areas - as far as Walton on the Naze in the East, Coggeshall in the West and Sudbury to the North.

Amongst the properties we support are those local to us - Bourne Mill in Colchester and Grange Barn and Paycockes in Coggeshall. In support of Bourne Mill, during the summer, we held a large coffee morning to advertise the work of the National Trust and our local Centre. We also organised a display of the work of the National Trust and our centre at Grange Barn.
