The National Trust can supply a range of additional services to ease the strain of organising your event. These services include:
- Catering (including menu, confirmation, drinks and flowers)
- Conference facilities
- Guided tours
- Entertainment
- Outdoor pursuits
Quotes can be supplied on request. All charges, terms and conditions for these services are in addition to the facility fee.
Catering
Catering can be supplied by:
Menu
All caterers will need to discuss your catering requirements with you and will quote accordingly on each booking. Sample menus can be supplied on request to give you an indication of the type of catering that can be provided.
Confirmation
The caterers require final guest numbers 48 hours before your function.You will be billed for these numbers regardless of guests actually present. For all terms and conditions regarding catering please see the ‘Terms and Conditions’ section.
Drinks
Soft and alcoholic drinks or a bar can be provided by an external caterer with a licence selected from the current list of National Trust approved caterers. Customers can also make their own arrangements in consultation with the Trust.
Flowers
Floral arrangements can be arranged on request and will be charged back to you. Alternatively we can recommend florists and arrangers to you.
Conference facilities
Most of our properties have a range of equipment for conferences and board meetings, and audio-visual equipment and can be hired on your behalf. However, please discuss your needs with the Trust.
Weddings
We welcome wedding ceremonies but clients must arrange their own wedding licence.
Guided tours
Private guided tours of the properties can be arranged during the open season. This is charged as an additional cost. The open season is mid-March to the end of September, although some properties are open in October as well.
Entertainment
We have a wide range of contacts for musical and entertainment acts that we can set up for you, particularly for incentive groups. Alternatively we can provide you with contact details.
