Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
The North Coast Member's Association was founded in 1985. Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally and raise funds for its work and projects. To join you need to be a member of the National Trust or an affiliated body such as the National Trust for Scotland.
Most members live in the north coastal region of Northern Ireland or have second homes here and at the October AGM the membership was 480. Currently we are supporting archaeological and restoration plans at Downhill Castle, the purchase of Runkerry headland and the National Trust's work in Strangford Lough.
Annual events include five talks, two day-outings, a guided nature walk, an 'away' short break holiday, Midsummer concert, Golf tournament and the pre-Christmas socialising and shopping at the Giant's Causeway shop and cafe. New members can be assured of a warm welcome and our activities are varied to appeal to a wide range of interests.
