New fee structure now in operation

A new pricing structure will be introduced from 5 May 2009, whereby charges will be made according to tent size as well as party size. Read here for further Information.

New booking system coming soon

In response to demand, a brand new advance booking system is planned for the campsites commencing at the end of July 2009.

Campers will be able to book in advance either online or over the telephone. This facility will give campers the assurance of an available pitch when they arrive on site. Please note that we now have a new bookings enquiry line which is 015394 63862.

New barriers to be installed at Wasdale and Great Langdale

Due to the new booking-in system, entrance barriers are also planned for both Great Langdale and Wasdale Campsites which will mean that arrival times at these campsites will now be regulated. They are being introduced to prevent overcrowding and noise from late arrivals whilst also contributing to the general safety and security of campers and their equipment.
