In winter North Cheshire Association members meet at Timperley Methodist Church Hall and Wilmslow Methodist Church Hall (See the events programme for details of dates and timings).
Meetings include talks on a range of heritage subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. Our programme has included talks about antiques, Manchester through the ages and 20th Century Vogue and Verse.
In summer we arrange day visits and local walks to places of interest. We have visited National Trust properties such as Penrhyn Castle and Calke Abbey, as well as a walk, followed by afternoon tea, in Styal Country Park and around Lymm.
Social and fundraising events are held throughout the year and include a May Tea, an Autumn Lunch and a Christmas Lunch.
Many of our members also provide volunteer support for the National Trust, for example working as stewards at properties or helping with events.
