Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
The South Cheshire Association was founded in 1992 and currently has over 300 members in Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach, Holmes Chapel and the surrounding area.
Our objectives are to promote the work of the National Trust, raise funds for its support and to provide an entertaining and stimulating programme of events to enable members to get maximum enjoyment from their membership. We arrange regular meetings with speakers, day trips and holidays.
Each year we donate surplus funds to worthwhile National Trust projects, a short list being voted upon by members at the AGM. Properties recently benefited from our donations include Bickerton Hill, Little Moreton Hall, Dunham Massey, Quarry Bank Mill and Formby.
Membership of the group is open to National Trust members and volunteers. The South Cheshire Association is independent of the National Trust and governed by a constitution common to National Trust Centres and Associations.
