The South Cheshire Association was founded in 1992 and currently has 274 members in the area of Crewe, Nantwich, Sandbach and Holmes Chapel.
Our objectives are to promote the work of the National Trust, raise funds in its support, and arrange a programme of events and activities to increase members’ enjoyment of the Trust.
Among the National Trust properties we support are Bickerton Hills, Little Moreton Hall, Nether Alderley Mill, Biddulph Grange and Quarry Bank Mill. For example, we have raised funds to provide various items of equipment to help with property management.
The South Cheshire Association is independent of the National Trust and governed by a constitution common to all the charity’s centres and associations. A committee of officers conducts our affairs and members are elected at our annual general meeting held in October each year.
