During the autumn and winter months members of the South Cheshire Association meet on the last Tuesday evening of every month at Wistaston Memorial Hall.
Meetings include talks on a range of heritage subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. Social and fundraising events are held throughout the year and include coffee mornings and a Christmas Dinner. We enjoy a varied programme of talks with subjects such as Abu Simbal, National Trust properties and projects and the Woodland Trust being included.
Visits to the Birmingham Back to Backs and Wakefield Mining Museum have been arranged. We have a lunch club that meets regularly and short holidays have been planned in Yorkshire, Norfolk and the Loire Valley.
Some of our members also provide volunteer support for the National Trust, for example working as stewards at properties or helping with events.
