Made with lavender that grows outside the restaurant from June until the end of the August. (Makes 20 biscuits)
Ingredients
- 270g plain flour
- 135g margarine
- 135g caster sugar
- 5g baking powder
- 5g bicarbonate of soda
- 20ml lemon juice
- Fresh lavender
Method
- Combine the above ingredients, except the lavender, until well mixed.
- Roll out on a lightly floured surface until required thickness.
- Using a cutter, cut into desired shape, sprinkle each biscuit with a few lavender buds.
- Bake in oven for 10-15 minutes.
