About the group
Since its formation in 1973 Worthing Association, through our membership’s support of the programme of events we organise, has raised over £100,000. This has enabled us to support national appeals such as Snowdonia, Uppark and Tyntesfield as well as fund projects at local properties and to regularly donate to the Neptune Coastline Campaign.
We hope that our programme will appeal to you too. It includes a series of talks, held on a Wednesday or a Saturday afternoon during the winter months using either Worthing Library or Broadwater Manor School. We also organise coach outings during the summer to Trust properties and other places of interest and an annual holiday. Social events are planned throughout the year as well as fundraising Fairs in the Spring and Autumn.
If you would like to take part and meet people with similar interests do come and join us – we look forward to welcoming you.
