About the group
Watford and District Association was formed in 1981 and currently has more than 200 members from the Watford, Rickmansworth, Abbots and Kings Langley area.
Membership of the Watford and District Association is open to members of the National Trust or holders of National Trust Volunteer Cards.
Our objectives are to promote actively the work of the National Trust locally, raise funds in its support, and arrange a programme of events and activities to enrich members’ understanding of its work.
We arrange lecture evenings, social activities and also organise regular escorted coach outings to National Trust properties and other places of interest to make involvement with the National Trust more enjoyable and foster an appreciation of the purposes of the National Trust.
By creating friendship between members we are jointly increasing the mutual enjoyment of Trust affairs and actively supporting the work of the Trust through voluntary service.
