Maidenhead Association was founded in 1985 and currently has 420 members. The area we cover includes Windsor and stretches from Twyford in the west to Taplow in the east.
Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally, raise funds in its support and arrange a programme of events and activities to enrich members’ understanding of this work.
Since the inception of our association we have raised over £60,000 to support National Trust properties both locally and further afield. Our nearest National Trust properties are Cliveden, Hughenden Manor, Greys Court and the open spaces of the Maidenhead and Cookham Commons all of which we have supported by our fundraising.
Maidenhead Association is independent of the National Trust and governed by a constitution common to all the charity’s centres and associations.
Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our annual general meeting held in April.
