Milton Keynes Association was founded in October 1985 and currently has a membership of more than 300 members.
Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally, raise funds in its support and arrange a programme of events and activities which provides further understanding of the National Trust and our heritage within a friendly group of members with similar interests and ideals.
Our activities allow us to make donations to support National Trust properties and ventures and we normally select those which are in our region. Recently we have been able to give contributions to Lyveden New Bield for name and information tags for the orchard, Ashdown House for the stable yard clock renovation, Buscot and Coleshill Estates for the restoration of Coleshill Water Mill and to Ham House for the restoration of the Garden.
Milton Keynes National Trust Association is independent of the National Trust and is governed by a constitution common to all the charity’s centres and associations. Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our AGM held in May each year.
