Throughout the year, August excepted, members meet on the second Thursday of each month at 7.30pm, in the Cathedral Discovery Centre, Edinburgh Road, Portsmouth. There are full facilities for the disabled and free on-site off-road parking for those attending our meetings.
Meetings include talks on a range of heritage and other subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. The programme includes talks on a diverse range of subjects such as The Queens at war, The Coast to Coast Walk, and The historic village of Wickham.
In summer we arrange outings and short break holidays to places of interest.
Social and fundraising events throughout the year include walks and coffee mornings.
A number of our members also provide volunteer support for the National Trust, for example working as stewards at properties or helping with events.
