About the group
The Enfield National Trust Association is a voluntary organisation for local members of the National Trust enabling us to further our common interest in the preservation of our country’s heritage. We were formed in 1977 and have over 500 members living in Enfield and adjacent areas. We are independent of the National Trust, and have a committee to organise our affairs, together with various helpers.
We raise funds for the National Trust supporting specific appeals and have recently supported projects at Ashridge, Long Crendon Courthouse, Claydon House, Anglesey Abbey, Shaw’s Corner, Ickworth, Stowe Gardens and the purchase of Seaton Delaval. We also gave three bursaries to Brancaster Activity Centre so that disadvantaged children may benefit.
