The Hampstead Centre was founded in 1969 and currently has 265 members, mainly from the boroughs of Camden and Barnet.
Our objectives are to promote the Trust locally, raise funds in its support, and arrange a programme of events and activities to enrich members understanding of its work.
We enthusiastically support the work of the National Trust as a voluntary body independent of but affiliated to the National Trust, and governed by a constitution common to all the charities’ centres and associations. Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our AGM held in December each year. We keep in touch with our Regional office at Hughenden Manor and through it with the wider interests of the Trust as a whole. Several of our members are room stewards and volunteers at the two houses in our area, Fenton House and Willow Road.
