Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
Havering & District Association arrange day visits and short-break holidays through the summer and previously have included Arundel, Blenheim, Chichester and Stamford, as well as having a three-day holiday on the Isle of Wight in their programme.
Meeting on the last Saturday of the month except for July, August and December, our members enjoy a talks programme which has included Essex at Sea, Lavenham and its Guild Hall and National Trust Properties in Hidden Essex.
There are many opportunities for members to socialise with like-minded people as social and fundraising events are held throughout the year. Although the National Trust has few properties in our immediate area we do support more distant properties and also such projects as the Neptune Coastline Campaign and any of the major appeals launched by the National Trust.
Do come and join us, you would be made very welcome.
