Havering & District Association was founded in 1978 and currently has 270 members in the area of the London Borough of Havering and Brentwood.
Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally, raise funds in its support, and arrange a programme of events and activities to enrich members’ understanding of its work.
Although the National Trust has few properties in our immediate area we do support more distant properties and also such projects as the Neptune Coastline Campaign and any of the major appeals launched by the National Trust.
Havering & District Association is independent of the National Trust and governed by a constitution common to all the charity’s centres and associations. Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our annual general meeting held in March each year.
