Havering & District Association members meet on the last Saturday of the month except for July, August and December. Meetings include talks on a range of heritage subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. This year’s programme includes talks on Essex at Sea, Lavenham and its Guild Hall and National Trust Properties in Hidden Essex.

In summer we arrange day visits and short-break holidays to places of interest. This year we plan to go to Arundel, Blenheim, Chichester and Stamford, as well as having a three-day holiday on the Isle of Wight, where we plan to go to several venues including properties owned by the National Trust.

Social and fundraising events are held throughout the year and include an Easter special, a strawberry tea, and a Christmas lunch.
