We hold illustrated talks throughout the year, normally on the fourth Thursday of the month beginning at 7.30pm, covering a wide range of subjects, including National Trust topics, conservation, heritage and travel. These are held at Finchampstead Memorial Hall, which is on the B3348 about a quarter of a mile from the junction with the B3016 at grid reference SU793632. The hall has a modern sound system including a loop facility and a ramp for wheelchair access.
Outings to places of interest such as National Trust properties and other houses and gardens take place on various days of the week. Social events include an annual Bridge Drive, concert visits, garden parties and rambles. Departure points for coach outings are normally in Finchampstead and Wokingham.
We support the National Trust by fundraising and by local distribution of publicity material.
