About the group
The Oxford Centre, founded in 1968, has members living in Oxford together with the surrounding areas.
Highlights of our recent programmes were our holidays in Devon and Liverpool, a visit to the National Theatre to see 'War Horse', the Courtyard Theatre at Stratford, and, as part of our talks programme, information about the Blue Plaques in Oxfordshire and the Life of William Morris.
A few of our members are volunteers at Basildon and Boarstall Duck Decoy, and we have helped financially to enhance the visitor's enjoyment of properties in the Thames and Solent area. Each year we also give to Neptune and the coach scheme for schools to visit properties.
If you would like to be part of our group, with the opportunity to meet new people with similar interests in the world of heritage, then we would like to hear from you.
