Holiday cottages

There are 11 holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight, ranging from the Old Church Lodge in St Helen's Duver and Rosetta Cottages in Cowes, to Knowles Farm Cottage near Ventnor and former coastguard cottages at The Needles.

Shops and tea-rooms

• Mottistone Manor Garden - Teas are served in the garden.

• Needles Old Battery - There is a tea-room, with spectacular views over the sea.

• Brighstone Shop & Museum - The National Trust shop in the middle of the attractive 18th-century cottages stocks a large selection of gift ideas. It is situated next to the Village Museum, which is run by Brighstone Museum Trust.

• Bembridge Windmill - A small shop selling coffees, teas and ice cream, is situated next to the windmill.
