Want to be more involved with your favourite National Trust property? Join your favourite property's supporter group to enjoy social events and raise money for the property.
Working in partnership with staff, the groups have a special relationship with the property, helping to ensure that it flourishes and is enjoyed by the whole community.
About the group
The Friends of Aberdulais Falls support a unique property that combines a mid 19th century industrial heritage with spectacular natural features that attracted late 18th century and early 19th century artists.
As a Friend you can participate in the social events that are on offer in our quarterly magazine, become more involved at the property or even participate in the Friends’ choir. You will see Friends running the tearoom, taking guided tours, stewarding, selling donated books, gardening, helping at events or in the Visitor Centre and shop. Behind the scenes activities include research, archaeological excavation, cataloguing and digitising of photographs and documents.
Our members’ support has enabled us to fund such projects as the refurbishment of the kitchen and the tearoom, provision of lifts, a significant contribution to building the modern Visitor Centre, a secure building for equipment and archaeological finds and much more.
