In winter Gwent Association holds four talks, two in the evening and two in the afternoon, followed by a tea. Meetings include talks on a range of heritage subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. This year's programme includes talks on Blaenau Gwent's Heritage and the Monmouthshire, Brecon and Abergavenny Canals.
Social and fundraising events are held throughout the year and several day trips and visits have also been arranged.
Some of our members also provide volunteer support for the National Trust, for example working as room stewards at The Kymin.
