The Pembrokeshire Association was founded in 1998 and currently has over 300 members.
Our objectives are to promote the National Trust locally, raise funds for its support, and arrange a programme of events and activities to enrich members understanding of its work.
Projects we have supported include an interactive display in the National Trust’s Visitor Centre in St David's, ponies to graze cliff-tops to improve biodiversity, equipment for environment monitoring in the Tudor Merchant’s House in Tenby and sponsorship of several booklets to provide more visitor information on National Trust sites in Pembrokeshire. This year we have purchased a water bowser to help the Trust manage the conversion of its local farms to organic standards.
The Pembrokeshire Association is independent of the National Trust and governed by a constitution common to all associations. Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our annual general meeting held in April each year.
