Welcome to the National Trust’s Wessex region covering Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset, Wiltshire and the cities of Bath and Bristol.
This spring, you could visit the wonderful castle at Corfe in Dorset or Dunster on Exmoor and catch the end of two fascinating conservation projects. Or pop into Snowshill Manor to see how we are getting on with recording all 22,000 items in Charles Wade’s eclectic collection.
Why not take an island adventure and search out red squirrels on Brownsea Island. Wildlife in the shape of deer can be found at Dyrham Park or you could pick up a tracker pack at Stourhead and just explore.
Garden fans should head for Hidcote Manor Garden, where an artist in residence is painting the amazing plant collection. At Kingston Lacy, there is a wonderful estate and walks beyond the house and garden.
