About the group
The National Trust Bournemouth and Poole Association was founded in 1985 as National Trust Bournemouth Centre. The present name reflects the region where most of our members live.
The objectives of the Association are:
- to promote the work of the National Trust
- to arrange a programme of events for enjoyment of its members
- to raise funds in support of local National Trust projects
These are achieved through a programme of winter talks, summer outings, lunches and short holiday breaks.
By taking part in our activities you will be helping to raise funds for various worthwhile National Trust projects in our area. Among the projects we have supported are those at the Kingston Lacy Estate, Brownsea Island, the Studland area and Corfe Castle
Membership of our group gives you the opportunity to meet new, interesting people with similar interests in the world of heritage.
