Interested in making the most of the National Trust near you? Join your local group to enjoy special interest talks, visits, holidays and other social and fundraising events.
You'll also be helping a great cause - local groups support the work of the charity and raise hundreds of thousands of pounds every year for our conservation and access projects around the country.
About the group
If you are a National Trust Member in our area you will be most welcome to join Kennet Valley National Trust Association. The Association was founded in 1999 and currently has around 300 members from the Marlborough, Pewsey and Devizes area.
Our aims are to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust and to promote fellowship amongst local members. We organise a programme of activities, which include monthly lectures, and also walks, and social events.
We arrange frequent trips. These have recently included visits to Parham House, Kew Gardens, Knightshayes Court and Brownsea Island.
We raise funds to support the work of the National Trust. For example we have raised funds to help with the repair of the clock at Avebury Manor. Our talks are particularly well attended and provide informative and enjoyable opportunities to meet other National Trust members.
