The Birmingham Association was founded in 1991 to benefit National Trust members living in the Birmingham area and now has more than 450 members.
Birmingham, being located in the centre of England has many National Trust properties and countryside locations within easy reach and the association makes donations to them - thereby supporting local projects as well as national projects when appropriate.
We are a supporter club formed by and for National Trust members in the Birmingham area providing a programme of events that is in accord with our membership. Specifically, we run talks during the winter, car and coach outings in the summer, an annual holiday, plus rambles and social events.
The association is independent of the National Trust and governed by an agreed constitution. It is run by a committee elected on an annual basis at the association’s AGM.
