Herefordshire and the Marches Association members meet at The Royal National College, College Road, Hereford on the:
- 4th Tuesday (March, April May and Sept)
- 4th Saturday (January, February, October and November).
Meetings include talks on a range of heritage, conservation and other subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people. This years programme includes talks on ‘Glass at Stourbridge’, ‘ The work of the National Trust shepherd’ and ‘History of the English seaside holiday’.
In summer we arrange day visits and holidays to places of interest. This coming year we hope to visit Tyntesfield, a National Trust property, and are investigating the possibility of a Rhine cruise.
Social and fundraising events are held and include our ever popular Christmas dinner with entertainment.
Many of our members also provide volunteer support for the National Trust, working as stewards at properties or helping with events.
