About the group
Solihull Centre's year round programme includes a winter programme of talks held monthly on Friday afternoon at Solihull Methodist church hall and Tuesday evenings at St Martins School. These cover a wide range of topics by experienced speakers. Coach outings, often to National Trust properties, are arranged from time to time as are three and five day holidays. Full details are to be found on our independent Web site and in the members' news letters.
We support a National Trust Volunteers group and their activities include working parties at properties in the area, an example being a Nature Trail at Baddesley Clinton. Stewarding at the properties is also undertaken.
To date our activities have raised over £260,000, much of which has been allocated to Baddesley Clinton and Packwood House also to the Neptune Coastline appeal.
Would you like to join us? You will be made very welcome. Our membership enquiry contact will be happy to tell you more about us.
