Between September and April we meet on the last Friday afternoon of the month at the Solihull Methodist church hall and also monthly on Tuesday evenings at St Martins School.
Meetings include talks on a range of heritage subjects and allow members to socialise with like-minded people.
Our programme includes regular country walks and rambles, both long and short. It also includes a full programme of car and coach outings, both to National Trust properties and to other places of interest.
The Solihull Centre also arranges short-break holidays for its members, which are usually five days in duration, travelling by luxury coach to places of special interest, both at home and abroad. Our members tell us that these are very enjoyable and are of exceptional value.
We also include special fund raising events:
The ‘200’ Club, where two prizes are drawn each month
The Charles Lines Memorial Lecture
The Annual Summer Fair
The Sid Canning Memorial Walk
