The Staffordshire Centre was formed in 1973 and currently has 300 members in the area of the county around Lichfield, Rugeley and Stafford.
As with other centres and associations, our objective is to provide a social base for National Trust members locally by organising talks, walks, outings and holidays and in so doing promote the Trust in its work by donating funds to specific projects in our area.
Among the National Trust properties we support are the two monuments on the Shugborough Estate for which we provide stewards.
The Staffordshire Centre is independent of the National Trust. Our affairs are conducted by a committee of officers and members who are elected at our annual general meeting held in April each year.
