About the group
This Centre was founded in 1971 to involve local National Trust members in promoting and supporting the work of the Trust at regional and national level in a socially and friendly environment.
Newsletters, distributed each January and July, give full contact details and set out the programme of talks, walks, coach outings, holidays and social events. Indoor meetings between October and April, featuring illustated talks of general interest, are usually held at Powick, Hanley Swan, Pershore and Croome Landscape Park.
A charge of £2.00 per person (members and visitors) is made to cover hall hire and speaker's expenses, but includes tea/coffeee and biscuits.
Visits by coach are arranged to a variety of places of special interest within reasonable travelling distance, including National Trust properies. Members are usually picked up in Worcester, Malvern and Pershore.
Holidays to Kent and to Italy have also been arranged recently.
