About the group
The Ryedale Centre was founded in 1982 and has around 200 members and is open to National Trust Members or those who possess a NT volunteers’ card but are not members of the Trust.
The objectives of the centre are to promote and prosper the work of the National Trust in the Ryedale area. To organise fund raising activities in support of the National Trust. To provide a programme of lectures, outings, holidays, and social events for the members. To provide a link between members and the Regional and National levels of the National Trust, so as to widen members’ knowledge of the Trust.
A newsletter is published twice a year to keep members informed of events and activities.
