About the group
Founded in 1970 the York Association's aims are to encourage National Trust members to enjoy their membership more fully and to promote interest in and support for the work of the National Trust and all NT members are welcome to join. Locally we support Treasurer's House and Beningbrough Hall.
Currently we have around 1,000 members most of whom live in York or the surrounding area. Enjoyable fund raising events contribute to NT projects at various properties, ie, Fountains Abbey and Nunnington Hall and some of our members are volunteer workers at local properties.
