The York Association was founded in 1970 and currently has more than 1000 members. Its aims are to encourage National Trust members of all ages to enjoy their membership more fully and to promote interest in and support for the work of the National Trust.
Amongst the National Trust properties we support are Treasurer's House and Beningbrough Hall. Contributions have also been made to Fountains Abbey & Studley Royal Water Garden, Nunnington Hall and the Neptune Coastline Campaign Appeal.
York Association is independent of the National Trust and is run by a main committee and three sub-committees, which arrange fund raising events, non profit-making activities and a programme of walks respectively.
