A new online bookstore will give people the chance to buy in one place for the first time, the full range of books on the unique collections, architecture, landscape and wildlife cared for by the National Trust.
The bookstore, at www.nationaltrustbooks.co.uk, offers for sale National Trust books, guidebooks and other titles relating to Trust properties and collections from a stylish, secure and easy-to-use site. All profit generated by ordering books directly from the site helps support the National Trust’s conservation work across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
The National Trust publishes up to 15 titles a year in partnership with Anova Books. These attractive books cover a vast number of topics and many include beautiful illustrations. Written by experts, National Trust books are the ideal way to gain a deeper understanding of the unique collections, architecture, landscape and wildlife cared for by the Trust.
All Trust books currently in print are available to buy from the Trust’s online bookshop, with topics as diverse and specialist as the sixteenth century embroideries at Hardwick Hall, to the creation of the unique garden at Hidcote, and the mysteries of bee-keeping.
People can also use the site to buy one of over 150 fascinating guidebooks to individual National Trust historic houses and gardens, helping visitors to get the most of out of their trip and take away a memorable souvenir.
Users of the Trust’s online bookshop may also buy any of the 450,000 titles listed there. Titles range from the most recent Alexander McCall Smith novel to Jane Austen’s immortal 'Emma'.
