Cadbury Trebor Bassett is delighted to be supporting the National Trust by helping to deliver over 200 Easter Egg Trails at our properties this Easter. The activities focus on encouraging ‘family togetherness’ and bringing a little magic back to the Easter occasion.
The Trails are being advertised on over 20 million Cadbury Easter eggs as well as through a dedicated website - www.eastereggtrail.com - where you can search to find your nearest participating property.
All children will receive a Cadbury ‘Egghead’ Easter Egg on completion of the trail and at some of our larger properties, Cadbury are providing extra fun and games including space hoppers, egg and spoon races and face painters.
The partnership forms part of Cadbury’s 'Purple Goes Green' environmental programme. As well as launching a number of new and exciting products this Easter, Cadbury Easter Eggs will now all carry a recycling symbol and Cadbury have reduced the amount of packaging across many of their products. This reduction will save over 247 tonnes of plastic and 115 tonnes of cardboard – an equivalent of nearly 2,000 trees!
In addition, Cadbury is making a £150,000 donation to the Trust this year to help support the Trust’s ancient trees and woodland conservation programme.
Phil Rumbol, Marketing Director – Cadbury Trebor Bassett says;
'We are thrilled to be involved with the National Trust this Easter, and to host festive Easter Egg Trails in such beautiful locations across the country.
'We believe this will engage consumers with the traditional rituals & magic that only Easter eggs can provide'
