For every customer that signs up, the National Trust Green Energy Fund receives contributions from the energy supplier npower to invest in small scale renewable energy projects at our properties.

- For every unit of electricity that you use, npower purchase a unit of electricity from existing renewable sources such as offshore wind and hydro-electric power
Great benefits for the National Trust
- npower contributes up to £30 to the National Trust Green Energy Fund for every customer that joins, and up to £20 a year in addition for every year they remain with National Trust Green Energy
- This money goes towards funding renewable energy and other carbon saving projects at National Trust sites
- To date, 12 National Trust properties have benefited from the fund, and a wide range of green initiatives are underway at National Trust properties across England and Wales
