The National Trust is one of over 30 partners working with Walkers crisps this year on an on-pack free entry promotion.
The partnership is part of the ‘Walkers Brit Trips’ promotion which focuses on all that is great about Britain, from fabulous days out and attractions to holidays and even pub lunches!
Customers are required to collect points from special Walkers packs which can be redeemed for either individual or family single use free entry passes to participating National Trust properties.
Points are redeemed via a bespoke website which allows the free entry passes to be downloaded and printed off. Consumers can see the offers available, searching on geographical location, type of activity or number of points collected.
Walkers and the Carbon Trust
Walkers has been working with the Carbon Trust since 2001, focusing on improving its environmental performance. Together they have undertaken some interesting and innovative work around establishing the carbon content of a packet of Walkers crisps. This now appears on the front of the packet in a special Carbon Trust-approved logo.
In addition to this, Walkers has taken steps to ensure that all of the potatoes that it uses are British and has also been addressing health concerns by lowering salt and saturated fat levels in its crisps.
