The Challenge is to link 14 points over two days covering 30km. Conquering many hills in remote and demanding country, and travelling from the southern central part of the Peak District to finish in the north, climbing a total of approximately 1,500 metres altitude over the weekend.
The route
Our challenge starts in Edale in the heart of the Peak District. We meet up on the Friday evening and after a thorough briefing retire to our two man tents. After a good breakfast we set off to our first key point:-

- Brown Knoll 569m – distance 3km
- Swaines Back 590m – distance 1.5km
- Kinder Low 633m – distance 1km

- Fair Brook Head 600m – distance 1km
- Woodlands Valley 300m – distance 3km (camp)
- Total distance: 16.5km
